Abbott Northwestern Transportation Study - Potential Transportation Improvements

by OSM & Associates, Inc.

completion date on report: January 1998

This report was commissioned by Abbott Northwestern to improve access to its campus. It was completed before the Phillips Partnership organized its transportation initiative; in fact, it set the direction and became the foundation for the work that the project consultants developed once public funding was secured.

The map below shows construction of on and off ramps at 26th Street and 28th Street (the infamous flyover)

the 26th Street ramp proved almost impossible to build, but the 28th Street ramp is alive and well ! (and it will only cost a few million $$$)
