Southside, Minneapolis. We've got it all: the chain of lakes, uptown, the creek, Lake St., Powderhorn Park, food co-ops, community gardens, the Midtown Greenway, the Mississippi River, Eat Street and

Traffic. Park your bike over I-35W sometime and watch the cars inch forward in a state of collective ennui. But that's their world. Our world is the open air on bike and foot, the community inside of a metro transit bus, and soon - Hiawatha Light Rail. Traffic growth is losing out to traffic

Reduction. Look at the Cedar/Kennilworth Trail, Midtown Greenway, on-street bike lanes, light rail, traffic calming, urban infill, rising transit ridership, whew!
Of course, none of these happened without tons of citizen

Initiative. The infrastructure we invest in dictates how we live. Cars bring congestion, pollution and poor quality of life. The southside already has good transit and walkable, mixed-use neighborhoods. Come join us in

Determining our Environment.
