the Whittier resolution:
The Whittier Alliance Transportation Land Use and Planning committee
met and voted on the I-35W Access Project on October 21st, 2002.
After much in-depth discussion the following motion passed by a
margin of 27 to 5:
"Be it resolved that the Whittier Alliance opposes the entire
I-35W access project in south Minneapolis between I-94 and 38th
Street - new ramps, more ramps, additional lanes, and the widening
and reconstruction of the roadway and bridges on the expressway."
